Vacshop works with companies who support ‘Right to Repair’ as these organisations offer parts ongoing. This is very much unlike other popular brands of floor care equipment that only provide parts for short periods of time.

Working to this ethos ensures the sustainable lifespan of the machine, value for money and reduces the amount of equipment going into landfill. 

Vacshop is an established business,  operating since 1983.  More than a retail store, first and foremost we offer service, repair and support to our customers to empower them to maintain an clean and healthy environment.

Servicing and repair off all machines occurs on location.  We also offer local mobile repairs and ship stock Nationally from our web site; www.vacshop.com.au

The Vac Shop’s humble beginnings started in 1983 with a small office in Hamilton NSW Australia, At the time being part of the worldwide network of distributors of the American made brand “Filter Queen” vacuum cleaners via direct selling.

During this period an ever increasing range of trade in vacuum cleaners were sold direct to the public from a small area at the front of the office.

As the business grew a move to larger premises in 1987 resulted in more showroom area dedicated to the sale of used vacuum cleaners and a large supporting spare parts section.

A change in building in 1994 resulted in a shift in the focus of the Vac Shop to a stronger retail and customer service orientated approach to the vacuum cleaner business with more new products and a comprehensive range of vacuum cleaner bags and spare parts.

To meet the needs of the growing customer base VacShop found a new permanent home  in Mayfield West which has allowed the Vac Shop to continue the business evolution into a full service retailer.

The new showroom and repair centre is much larger with car parking to accommodate up to 10 cars. Our mission is to:

Our business is focused around our customers and their needs.

Today, we operate from Unit 12/17 Riverside Drive Mayfield West NSW 2304 and have a team of 6 staff.

The aim of the Vac Shop is to offer superior high quality products backed by knowledgeable staff and friendly customer service.
