What is the purpose of a Vacuum Filter you ask?

Most filters are commonly known as Post and or Pre filters.  Both are important as they can effect air quality leaving the your Vacuum and entering the motor of the Vacuum. When you turn your vacuum cleaner on the motor pushes air through to the inside of the motor sucking up dust and debris as it goes.  If you don't have a good Filter in place this dust can settle in the motor which in the end can shorten the life of your vacuum.

There are Cartridge filters, Cloth Filters, Foam Filters and Disk Filters. Some filters are HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air). Good Filters are capable of removing 99.995% of air particles from the size of 0.3 microns. HEPA filters are great for people with Allergies .A good quality HEPA filter can improve the quality of the air leaving your Vacuum.  This way you are not just moving dust and debris back onto your furniture, floor and lungs.
