Whether its a Dyson Battery/Stick/Cordless, Bissell Battery/Stick/Cordless, Bosch Battery/Stick/Cordless , VAX Battery/Stick/Cordless  or Electrolux Battery / Stick / cordless we all seem to have one these days,  

First Iphone madness now Stick/Battery/Cordless Vacuum madness.  Everybody wants one,  or already has one. VacShop service these bad boys every day and for the most part we see Dyson is the most popular with our customers.

Battery Vacuums have changed our lives and we love them at VacShop too.  This very trendy to have new home appliance is helping people to get their housework done faster and more efficiently than ever before.

Stick and Battery vacuums are very useful around the house especially when you have those unexpected spills and of course those last minute guests drop in.  They are easily hidden away and can usually be split into two devices, Handheld and Stick.

Handheld vacuums don't really replace our traditional Barrels and Uprights but they do a pretty good job at it.  The more power in the battery usually the better the performance.

Stick Vacuums range in price from $99.00 to $1199.00 and performance isn't always related to price.

VacShop likes models that have a good Battery run time and don't take too long to charge (usually above 18V).  Good maneuverability, easy cleaning and Hepa filtration are also key performance indicators. Variable speed and the ability to use over multiple floor surfaces is also something we look for.

What we also know is that these household musts,  need to be cleaned regularly and filters washed and changed out when required.  Superior performance is only achieved with a well maintained machine and if you are using your Vacuum every day then you need to maintain it well.

We love the VAX vx63 and the new vx82.  The VX82 has a 32V batter as opposed to the Dyson 26V battery.  Don't get me wrong I still love the Dyson but if it's out of your price range the VX82 at $459.00 is a great Stick/Battery Vacuum for half the price.
